Corrections Policy

Material errors are corrected promptly and transparently, with article updates logged in the story body when needed.

Trust is not built by pretending mistakes never happen. It is built by correcting the record quickly, clearly, and without hiding changes that matter.

When we correct

We correct factual errors, significant omissions, misleading framing, wrong attributions, inaccurate numbers, incorrect locations, and broken context that changes reader understanding.

How we handle updates

Minor copy fixes may be made silently. Material corrections are reflected in the story with a note, updated timestamp, or other transparent marker depending on the seriousness of the issue.

How to request a correction

Email the newsroom with the article URL, the specific line or claim in question, and supporting evidence. Requests are reviewed by editors and escalated quickly when the risk of public misinformation is high.
